Air - To - Ground
Realism for SOF and JTACs on the ground is paramount for mission success. Our pilots have served as Air Liaison Officers, FAC-As, and instructed ground forces during Red Flag, Green Flag, and CAS phases for the F-16 and A-10 Weapons School syllabus.
The real world experience of our pilots allows precise training to the JTAC on the ground. The currency of our pilots maximizes the training for the JTAC while minimizing the cost of airborne assets. Our aircraft are equipped with UHF/VHF, Laser Range Finders, Heads Up Displays, Hands on Throttle and Stick and have the ability to carry all GFE or commercial Targeting Pods. Our pilots are continually held to high standards to ensure compliance with all Joint Publications and are an incredible training aid for any JTAC event.
Additionally, our aircraft can serve as non-traditional Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms utilizing Targeting pods. Our 1553 Bus equipped aircraft have the ability to serve as these platforms and expanding the scope of training for the JTAC on the ground. All aspects of CAS and JTAC training can be filled with actual precise ordnance being delivered from our aircraft. Through strategic partnerships, we are able to deliver the Air-to-Ground mission on an hourly basis from the first steps of planning missions, to delivering bombs on time, on target, and all the way through debrief.
Draken International has developed a simple and cost-effective method of getting the most realistic training events for JTACs. Our aircraft are able to deploy to most training events, minimizing the dwell time that US Military members are deployed during training.
WITH A FLEET OF 80 TACTICAL FIGHTER AIRCRAFT, DRAKEN OWNS AND OPERATES THE WORLD’S LARGEST COMMERCIAL FLEET OF TACTICAL EX-MILITARY AIRCRAFT. DRAKEN SUPPORTS MILITARY TRAINING OBJECTIVES AROUND THE GLOBE, PROVIDING TREMENDOUS COST SAVINGS OVER THE USE OF TRADITIONAL MILITARY FIGHTER ASSETS.
Our fleet of aircraft have been expertly maintained and inspected prior to gaining their airworthiness certifications. Draken maintenance technicians engage in FAA flight safety meetings and scheduled proficiency seminars and have decades of experience and training to ensure safety is at the center of their decision making matrix.
