Draken brings a truly unique Tactical Tanking Capability. Utilizing Basket Probe – Buddy Stores, Draken can self tank our own A4 assets for unprecedented on station time or support other Basket Probe capable aircraft. As a stand-alone mission, Draken Tanker configured are highly cost effective alternatives for Operational Squadron currency or Training/Fleet Replacement Squadron tanking qualification requirements. Draken International owns (6) Buddy Store systems.
Compared to the high cost of refueling assets and limited availability, this mission is a perfect cost-effective alternative to give quality training at a fraction of the cost. Our pilots have flown an immense amount of hours during their military career refueling aircraft and are experts.
To bring this to Contract Air Services at a tactical level gives our US military unmatched flexibility in on station time for both adversary support or for Blue support in the airspace.
